GUIDELINES FOR YOUR PHOTOS AND PORTRAITS

In the portraits you will be making, please emphasize the face. If there is another interesting physical attribute that is essential to that person that you would like to focus on, let's discuss.
You can artfully crop this however you like. Sometimes what we emphasize or even what we don't see can be equally compelling and interesting.

In PHOTOSHOP, you will be converting your photographs to high contrast Black and White images to work from. We will go over a variety of ways to do so. As this isn't a perfect science, it will take some time to get your desired result. A good place to start could be CHANNEL MIXER or LEVELS.

To ensure a good image:
please use larger images and imagery that has already has some shadow, value, and high contrast to begin with.
We can scan in your images as well.
