Art/Visual Components
- Students will work in groups to create tapestry and quilt-like pieces that explore all aspects of Rebellion/Conformity.
- Student's will reference propaganda art and posters as a jump off point, incorporating a wide variety of design aesthetics and practices into the final pieces.
- Students will work with fabric only.
- We will reference Alika Cooper's figurative fabric collages as a model for our practice.
- Skills covered: drawing, Adobe CS (Photoshop and Illustrator), pattern making, sewing, installation, color theory, scale, etc.
